Best Student Paper Awards

Two “Best Student Paper Awards” will be assigned during WOCSDICE – EXMATEC 2023, for the best oral presentations in the fields of materials science and device technology, respectively.

The Awards are kindly sponsored by the open access journal Materials MDPI.

Eligibility and application for the Awards

  • Be enrolled in a recognized academic graduate degree program (Masters or Doctoral).
  • Submit an abstract related to the mentioned areas (materials science or devices technology), as presenting author (speaker) and within the Abstract Submission Deadline.
  • Application for the Awards is done during abstract submission. Alongside with the abstract submission, the authors must declare their candidature to the Awards, giving proof of their eligibility condition (e.g. certificate of enrollment as Master or Doctoral student).

Selection Criterion

      • During the Conference, a jury panel formed by Steering Committee Members will attend the assigned talks in order to select the Awards winners. For this phase, the jury panel will take into account the quality of each oral presentation and the clarity in replying to questions from the audience.
